Description

This Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread Recipe is moist, flavorful, and filled with delicious chunks of chocolate in every bite. It’s easy to make and the perfect way to use up ripe bananas.

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chunks (semi-sweet or dark)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Mash the Bananas: In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread Recipe

  6. Bake: Pour the batter into the greased loaf pan and bake for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean (with maybe a few melted chocolate spots!).Chocolate Chunk Banana Bread Recipe
  7. Cool and Serve: Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

If your bananas aren’t ripe yet, speed up the process by placing them in a 300°F oven for 10-15 minutes until they darken and soften.

You can substitute chocolate chunks with chocolate chips, or even mix in some walnuts for added texture.
