Scale

Dubai Chocolate Bar Recipe

  • 8 oz (226g) High-Quality Dark Chocolate (70% cocoa)
  • 1/4 cup (56g) Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cardamom
  • Pinch of Sea Salt
  • 1/2 cup (64g) Pistachios (chopped)
  • Edible Gold Leaf (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Melt the Chocolate:

Break ▢8 oz Dark Chocolate into small pieces and place them in a heatproof bowl.

Using the double boiler method, place the bowl over a saucepan of simmering water and whisk from time to time until the chocolate is melted.

Alternatively, you can melt the chocolate in a microwave by heating it in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.

Add Butter and Sweetener:

Once the chocolate is melted, stir in ▢1/4 cup Unsalted Butter and ▢2 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup until fully incorporated and smooth.

Season the Chocolate:

Add ▢1/2 tsp Ground Cardamom and a pinch of ▢Sea Salt to the chocolate mixture. Stir well to evenly distribute the flavors.

Prepare the Chocolate Bar Base:

Pour the chocolate mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, spreading it evenly to your desired thickness.

Add Pistachios:

Sprinkle ▢1/2 cup Chopped Pistachios evenly over the top of the chocolate, pressing them gently into the chocolate to ensure they stick.

Chill to Set:

Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and chill for about 30 minutes, or until the chocolate is firm and set.

 Add the Finishing Touches:

Once the chocolate has set, carefully place ▢Edible Gold Leaf on top of the bar for a luxurious finish.

Cut and Serve:

Use a sharp knife to cut the chocolate into bars or squares. Serve right away or keep chilled in an airtight container.

Notes

Chocolate Quality: For the best results, use high-quality dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa content. The quality of chocolate will greatly affect the taste of your Dubai Chocolate Bar.

Gold Leaf: The edible gold leaf is optional but adds a stunning visual appeal that makes this dessert truly luxurious.

Flavor Variations: Feel free to experiment with additional flavors, such as a sprinkle of cinnamon or a dash of chili powder, to customize your chocolate bar.
